Oh! How I look forward to a brand new
year. It's the optimal time to reflect over the past year. Stare
down all the stupid things you did or said and vow to do better in the New Year.
As I travel down 2012, I'm visited with
an abundance of happy memories. When I round the curves, I glance at the
imperfect moments. Gheez! The lessons I've learned. As the
landscape thickens, I'm saddened by my most unhappy and often regrettable
events. However, the optimist that I am, these moments are viewed as life's
learning and enriching gifts.
As I step into 2013, I'm anxious to
avoid repeat offenders that didn't bode well in 2012. I'm pausing to
assess my spiritual, physical, material, and social prosperity. It's a
time to reset your internal clocks, re-calibrate our settings, and re-chart
your course.
